Haha, no more bad lighting for Jenn. Turns I have to make some major adjustments in order to shoot in my new place... for one, the sun doesn't actually shine directly into my window. It took me about twenty tries, plus flash (!), to get this shot. I generally only use natural lighting, but it was a wee bit too dark. Phew. I'll get the hang of it sooner or later and submit something better.

In case you're wondering, the dress isn't actually that short. It goes all the way down to just below my knees. I originally bought it to attend a summer wedding and have since worn it to another wedding. It just happens to be impossible to sit that way without hiking it up a wee bit.

FYI, the pose was inspired by Pika's Changes. It's a beautiful painting with a very playful mood (and a great movie behind it if you're interested *hint hint*!). I went a bit darker, but the idea is similar.

Real life memo: AHHHHHHH I am going to resubmit my med school app next week!! Still drafting my essay and looking up schools, but my dean OKed my last draft with just a few pointers. I'm on track, but AHHHHHHHH!!!! (It seems that I get the most inspiration for these photoshoots when I'm massively stressed. Go figure.)
