What's Left

This is a submission for zemotion's third Starlight contest, theme: Imperfection.

So... I've got lots of imperfections. How am I going to explain this? Huuuuh. Well, while I was trying to take this photo, which was very difficult mind you--people just weren't made to single-handedly wrap themselves up in long sheets of paper--a random quote popped into my head and refused to get out. And that quote was from Shrek. He once famously said, "ogres are like onions... onions have layers." Yup, you guess it; I think that people are like ogres, too.

Hence, the layers upon layers of perceptible "imperfections", and with all that is us, people. But where do the imperfections end and we begin? I don't know. We are lonely, doubting, vulnerable, petty, and even broken in places. But even with all that riding on us, we can still become heap-big (green) heroes, inspirations, inovators, etc. This is because these imperfections, you see, are ingrained in our persona. Ridding oneself of them is difficult. It's possible, but very difficult. It's like peeling an onion. You'll probably make yourself or someone else cry.

And now I'm confusing myself. I guess I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say.
